# Token Usages

MLA token holders have the power to participate in the governance of the MoolaNet protocol. Through a decentralized governance system, token holders can propose and vote on various protocol upgrades, parameter adjustments, and policy changes. This allows the community to collectively shape the future development and direction of MoolaNet.

MLA tokens entitle their holders to a share of the fees generated by swaps and liquidity provision on the MoolaNet platform. When users execute swaps or provide liquidity to the pools, a portion of the fees collected is distributed pro-rata among MLA token holders. This creates an incentive for token holders to actively participate in providing liquidity and supporting the platform's growth.

The distribution of fees provides a mechanism for MLA token holders to earn passive income based on their token holdings and participation in the ecosystem. This aligns the interests of token holders with the success and sustainability of MoolaNet.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://moolanet.gitbook.io/moolanet-whitepaper/tokenomics/token-usages.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
